Cannot Boot using this #3
Comments
@Avg-Enjoyer what Mac model did you use to get the smbios serial ? |
MacbookPro16,3 same as you |
I managed to go past the picker but then I'm faced with black screen, no apple logo. Also generated plist with MacbookPro16,3 and secureboot disabled. |
@vladsendrix is your Laptop in hybrid mode? If not, try putting it on Hybrid mode. |
Also make sure you generate your own SSDT |
I did both...unfortunately result is the same. |
Same log, u've fix it? |
i solve this by removing noteedred and more ktex, after installation on disk, install all ktex |
@akmaldira Great ! The kexts work after the installation is complete, then? Also , make sure to download the latest nootedred kext from it's official github repo, it has received many updates since I made this repo of my own. |
@vladsendrix So, your solution did help a bit, earlier i used to crash on EB|LOG:EXITBS:START issue. I solved by using this KASLR guide after that i got this image: After deleting nootedred and booting again the apple logo shows and the progress bar goes for about 20 secs and then it force reboots to windows again. These are the error messages i'm getting: |
So basically I copy the EFI, configure the config.plist with MacBookPro16,3, then disabled NootedRed kext using ProperTree, i complete the installation and it reboots into usb into the Mac Installation and from there it gets stuck for now and keeps rebooting at the same verbose. |
what ktext din you and up removing when installing? |
I disabled NootedRed and it installed fine, but at some point after installation it got suck at boot and neither enabling/disabling did anything to fix it. I even updated kexts and nothing worked, im too buzy to build another EFI from scratch atm. |
efi is okay but what os ? |
Hi! I'm using the same system and specs as you buy I cant boot using your EFI. I modified your config.plist with GenSMBios to get a unique serial number but I still cannot boot.
