Hi,

I am using Bartender 4 to hide some apps in the menu bar.

I configured AerialCompanion (and some other apps) to hide when the default icon is shown and only appear when the icon changes.
For a couple of days I am noticing that the AerialCompanion icon shows up although I am running the current version 1.2.1 beta2.

Once I update the icon in Bartender it disappears as expected but just to show up after a day or two.

According to the Bartender folks, it seem that Aerial Companion might update the icon width...

Hi @bondskin

So that's quite possible, I know that I had some drawing issues on some macOS versions that made me add some workarounds that included width. I'll try to have a look at some point and get back to you, thanks for the info.

@bondskin

Ok I had a quick look and I had actually removed the offending code where I played with the width/height all the time, it's only set once now...

So I guess it could be some init thing or something, I downloaded Bartender 4 beta, I'll try to have a look maybe I can trigger the thing and get an understanding of why it breaks. Stay tuned !
