Custom backround removal

Is there any way to get access to custom backround again using other methods? The new update removes custom backround, and I understand it was because it violated some Obsidian rules. But my chest, which I thought was beautiful, took a hit. So my question is, do you plan to change this setting in the future?
Or should we expect never to be able to change the Obsidian backround again? Thank you,
