I use my own program,
NiftyPlayer
, for managing my image libraryIt can very(!) quickly create thumbnail pages of all the images in a folder, which you can then rapidly page through. The size of the thumbnails can be adjusted.
It has many of the same functions as MMP does for viewing images, zooming in, rotating, panning left/right/up/down etc.
You can easily navigate through an entire heirarchy of folders (e.g. Next Folder, Prev Folder), displaying all the thumbnails from each folder.
You can move images to various user-defined topic folders or make copies to a "Copied" folder if you want to leave the original image in situ. Useful for editing a copy.
You can quickly go through a folder, view each image and "Save" those you want to keep to another folder. When you're finished, you can then delete what remains in the folder.
Which brings me to my question:
For a while now I have been thinking of incorporating all this image library functionality into MMP. I would personally find it useful to have all my media file needs catered for in the one program.
So, the question is, would you find this image library functionality useful in MMP?
Please feel free to provide additional comments about what facilities for audio/video/images you would find useful in Minimalist Media Player.
Thanks in advance!
