ESPHome Installation fails

When I try to install ESPHome I keep getting a preparation failed. When I try to Validate the config it is successful.

I am running ESPHome v2023.2.4 with HA 2023.3.1.

This is the error log:

No, I resolved it by reinstalling ESP Home like @denes44 .

I had the same issue a couple days before when I started using this project.
Reinstalling the esphome HA addon worked for me. It does not change your files in the config/esphome directory, so it can be reinstalled quickly (however always make a backup before doing thing like this :) )

Reinstalling did not resolve the issue for me. It also appears to be specific to compiling for the esp32. The esp8266 compiles just fine.

There's no esp8266 on this project... 🤪
If you are having an issue, do you mind reporting in the issues area with logs and yaml?

oh, sorry. I found this thread on Google when I was researching compilation errors with ESP Home. Compiling anything seems to work finally, after reinstalling ESP Home about 5 times now.
