The kitchen team get a long list of allergies to cater for and although these are manually normalised to some extent, it's still quite tedious for cooks to count them up, and some duplicates get missed.
E.g. "wheat-free" and "I avoid wheat but rye is ok" ultimately get counted as the same but appear as different items in the long allergies list.
Worth thinking about solutions for this, but I'm imagining a multiple choice field for recipients to tick, with the option of writing more if necessary. Then the kitchen team would get something easier to read like "30 x wheat free, 2 x prefer no tomato" etc.
