@adambuttrick you are bringing up a very good point. We don’t have any quality eval implemented yet but we will start working on that soon. First priority for the moment is optimizing speed. Please free to contribute your ideas and pointers to this discussion as well: #306 |

Noting that this benchmark was recently released with a corresponding paper/preprint. This tests Marker and other libraries/models adjacent to Docling. |

Great project! Before embarking on my own evals, I was curious whether there were any official or community-created benchmarks for the fidelity of the markdown conversions for the various document types. Marker has a limited set of these, but I couldn't find reference to anything similar in the Docling documentation, paper, or code. Apologies if I've missed!
