It would be swell if the gui allowed the area where the output audio that shows the alias/tag info to be resized by the mouse in the same way the waterfall can be resized. Maybe the ability to set the text size to Courier 24 pt or 48 pt or whatever. Why? The moment I managed to get this beyond awesome app to work to my liking, I really didn't need all the tech output. I am using a repurposed Lenovo Ideapad notebook and three Realtek dongles to make a standalone appliance of sorts. Debian 12 autoboots, autologins and auto starts SDRtrunk, and SDRTrunk autoplays the two trunked repeater systems I listen to. It runs 24/7 in my house. It's mostly idiot proof.
Fast forward.
All I really care about on the screen is what is actually coming out of the speakers. I am hitting 50 years old next month, so the ability to make that text output larger in visible size would be awesome. I know that I could download the source and find where that is set up and compile it but my first experience with gradle happened only yesterday. If not a feature built in to a future release, could someone save me some time and point me to the correct source file that dimensions that part of the gui window? Once I can start there, in theory, I could figure out how to adjust the size to my liking of that particular element and then spend 12 weeks learning how to successfully build it. Lastly, the design of SDRTrunk as a software suite should earn its author (Denny?) the software engineer's version of a Nobel Prize. It's obvious that a metric ton of brain meat was used in developing it. Thanks for this project.
