Terms of Service

Last updated: January 16th, 2022

Thank you for chosing Rentool. Rentool is currently under development and so is the Terms of Service. We will update the terms of service once development is finished. And we will send notice of these updates.

By accessing or using the service you agree to these terms and to adher to them. We have the right to modify these Terms and will send notice of these changes.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  • Country refers to: Saudi Arabia

  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Rentool.

  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

  • Service refers to the Website and/or the Application.

  • Terms and Conditions (also referred as "Terms") mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service. This Terms and Conditions agreement has been created with the help of the Terms and Conditions Generator.

  • Third-party Social Media Service means any services or content (including data, information, products or services) provided by a third-party that may be displayed, included or made available by the Service.

  • Website refers to Rentool, accessible from rentool.site

  • Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Rentool

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

  • Tool means any product posted on Rentool for rent.

  • Owner of a tool is the user who offered/posted the tool.

  • Renter if a tool is the user who wants to rent the tool and sent the owner a request.

  • Renting a tool means renting another user's tool. Making you the renter of the tool.

  • Offering a tool means renting your own tool for renters to send you requests to rent it. Making you the owner of the tool.

  • Rent price is the price of renting a tool per day.

  • Insurance amount is an insurance deposit sent to the owner if the tool was damaged.

Payments

We will take 5% of the rent price. NOT the insurance amount/deposit.

When renting a tool, we will bill your card the rent price and the insurance amount after you and the owner confirm each other's IDs.

When offering a tool, you will receive 95% of the rent price once you and the renter confirm each other's IDs. We will hold onto the insurance price until the rent is over.

After the rent is concluded/finished/done if the tool was damaged the insurance price will be sent to the owner. and if the tool was not damaged the insurance price will be refunded to the renter.

Prohibited

Chat messages and posts' names, descriptions, photos, and videos must not contain violent material, sexual material, nudity, offensive language, or references to or depictions of illegal drugs.

Posts of or about alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or any products that it's illegal to sell or rent is in the country are not allowed.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE RENTOOL SERVICES AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) AND OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE RENTOOL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY RENTOOL ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING. RENTOOL MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE RENTOOL SERVICES, OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, PRODUCTS (INCLUDING SOFTWARE) OR OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE RENTOOL SERVICES, UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN WRITING. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE RENTOOL SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK

RENTOOL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM THE USE OF ANY RENTOOL SERVICES OR ANY OTHER SERVICE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH ANY RENTOOL SERVICE.
