QuickCapture OIC #44
Comments
Hi, |
Thanks Kushu for assisting me the other day! |
Samekfb, was this issue resolved. I am experiencing the same issue. My OIC was auto created in QuickCapture which has attachments and not a dedicated Image field. When loading the OIC in the Viewer it spins. |
Hiya Darrin, |
One thing I realized was the Camera Heading field was throwing an invalid value error. Then I realized all the values were Null. I populated all the records with whole numbers representing the general compass heading just to test. After I did that the tools worked in both Pro and the Online Viewer? I'm not sure why the values were not populated and I'm not sure if that is the reason for the perpetual spinning. |
Hmm, when testing we did note that when using the mode which takes the photo instantly (i.e. without launching the camera) the OIC fields weren't getting populated, this was confirmed to be a known issue by ESRI. We have also suggested that our users should download a compass app to their phone to properly calibrate the heading as even with the normal use of the camera it can receive inaccurate values. However I have tried with other OIC datasets and using the custom widget / tool to view the information, sadly it still wasn't working on my end. I will be sure to check though, thanks! |
Hi Sam, What issue are you facing with the widget? Are you using the Oriented Imagery 3D widget? We updated it last week. Thanks |
Hiya,
I am struggling to view images which have been taken through the QuickCapture app which uses data with the oriented imagery capabilities enabled. This is what I have attempted:
Whilst they all have differences, the main issue is not being able to view the images. As the data is being generated through QuickCapture (OIC was enabled at the start before any images were taken) the images are stored in the data as attachments, as much of the guidance around using oriented imagery doesn't mention attachments could this be the issue? However reading the help and guidance pertaining to the QuickCapture app and oriented imagery, it seems it should work fine.
I am using version 2.6.0 (ArcGIS Pro) and version 10.8.1 (Enterprise).
Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!
Sam
