GitHub is a major platform in the Open Source space/environment. Getting developers a quick understanding of what github is, why we use it, and how to use it would be immensely beneficial. Especially if we would like them to collaborate with others!

GitHub has excellent docs already, so a simple table of links/resources with short descriptions would be great.
