After further searching this might be a repeat of #14524 - for anyone searching for microphone fixes, setting the input device to my audio interface manually through System Settings before launching the game worked for me. When the input device was my airpods, it didn't seem to ask for mic permission at all. Be sure to check System Settings before each launch because it will automatically set the input device to your airpods every time they connect, and Barotrauma doesn't seem to let you use anything other than the system-wide default device. |

What happened?
Installed the game under macOS 15.1.1 on an external drive. When asked, gave permission to access removable media. Game worked fine until the latest update: Upon launch, game would immediately crash, and would not create a crash report. Reinstalling the game on the main drive solved the issue. Strongly suspect that the application lost permission to access removable media and did not ask for this permission again.
