Extending the range for a P1 slimmer meter connection and even making it possible to connect multiple receivers (having their own data enable).

Multiple nethods are being used to "extend" the range or to have multiple "P1 outputs".
- Making the rising edge "faster" and in so compensating the higher load.
- It can work for your situation, but you never now how good it is.
- With a driver and an open collector or open drain (datasheet and image does not show this), you actively drive the output harder down and you can use a lower load resistor.
- It is claimed that this solution does extend the range 10 times, but in reality it only adds more "drive strength" to the signal, resulting in a better signal for the receiver also after adding extra meters to the cabling.
- Make the P1 information available on a Netwerk, so others can receive the P1 information if needed.
- Can be done via WIFI or Ethenet Cable.
- Longer range than a "direct" connection.
- The other side needs to have a connection to the Netwerk: Home Assistant, Domoticz, Home battery solution, ...
- Gives uncertainty in the solution: Network troubles, Complexity, Added "translation" devices (Sender and Receiver), Power, ...
- Differential signalling
- Common-mode noise is easily rejected by a differential receiver.
- Longer cable runs are possible due to the increased noise immunity.
- Use of an output that can drive a higher load
