Several attributes like surge_type, are available in the Glacier product, but are missing from the Centerlines product, so I would like to use the rgi_id field, which is available in both products, to link the two. However, is my interpretation correct that rgi_id means something different for the two products? It appears that rgi_id in the Glacier product more closely matches rgi_g_id in the Centerlines product.

I'm seeking clarity on what exactly is meant by rgi_id and if there's any way to link attributes from the Glacier product to the glaciers in the Centerlines product.

This should be possible with the rgi_g_id attribute:

Let me know if something's amiss.

Thanks @fmaussion. I will use rgi_g_id in the Centerline product to get attributes corresponding to rgi_id of the Glacier product.
