In Download the portage tree, emerge sync is not need, emerge webrsync is enough to update Portage. In New user, there is a typo error: passwod newuser. The step Enable ssh deamon is already done during setup (rc-update...), is not need and have a typo error. Thanks for the info, I've updated the docs as above
based on https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Localization/Guide it looks like both /etc/locale.gen and /etc/env.d/02locale should be set

The ebuilds are probably out of date by now, so I'll take a look at updating them after I get a few other things up and running

Good. About Mirrorselect, note that mirrorselect is adding SYNC variable but is deprecated [https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/SYNC](SYNC - Gentoo wiki). Also, in Hardware Random Number Generator, the package is rng-tools, not rng-utils.

Okay I'll look into that, I'm about to try a rebuild anyway to get a clean kde plasma install (and plus my existing rpi hd is broken), for info the site should now be browsable via http://grbd.github.io/GBD.Rpi2.Gentoo/ I've been experimenting with github pages and templates recently
