I've been using Hugo Academic to create my professional web page. It is working for me. I use Github Desktop to help me automate uploading changes to my repository.
After a long time of not changing my site, I reopen Github Desktop and I'm informed of the following warning: "Submodule changes. This is a submodule based on the repository gcushen/hugo-academic. This submodule has modified changes. Those changes must be committed ... "
It prompts me with that blue button to open the submodule, and then I see this.
It looks like there are changes to Hugo Academic that were done upstream, but I don't really understand what I'm seeing here, and what I'm being prompted to do, and what I should do to get rid of the warning.

Any ideas?
