Typing in the URL bar doesn't always clear the current url

I've noticed this issue since using JumpGo. Normally I'd expect whatever text was already in the URL bar to be cleared when I begin typing inside, however that's not the case. Instead, the text I'm typing will often just be slapped onto the front of whatever's already in the URL bar.
