Bro it will be truly awesome if you provide Hitomi downloader Lite_GUI for Win 8.1/7 users where it has all of the v3.8d features and only ffmpeg and yt-dlp updates

Im not sure why the newer version and any upcoming version of hitomi wont be working on older windows versions... Maybe due to some win 10/11 dependencies you compiled in the latest build ?

i dont need any new features, please just recompile v3.8d again as Hitomi downloader Lite where it mostly includes ffmpeg and yt-dlp backend maintenance based updates for the downloads to work.... its ok to not have new features as you might not be willing to spend time on older windows versions But please Release a Lite version and continue providing backend maintenance based updates for all of the Lite version updates for the downloads to work... thanks

Just Discovered that v3.8f is working fine on Win 8.1

Hope to see a lite version based on this build as v4.0 simply Refuses to update on Win 8.1...

For Example, You can release v3.8g manually in Github so i can download manually here where v3.8g is just as same as v3.8f BUT INCLUDES All of the Backend updates of ffmpeg and yt-dlp for the downloads to work.

FFmpeg hasn't changed between versions and yt-dlp stopped supporting Python 3.7, so it won't be updated after that.

Bro for now v3.8f just works fine, if the downloads stopped working, i will let you know(so that you can use win 8.1 or win 7 in a vm, load version v3.8f and find out what is causing downloads not working)

For now, v3.8f just works, i hope the current state of v3.8f is more like chromium 109/win 8.1... For Example currently im using outdated brave browser version and win 8.1 which has not been updated for more than a year but everything works just super fine.... Hope hitomi downloader v3.8f also has that perfection...
