I am a Staff Software Engineer currently focused on in-store technology for one of the largest retailers. With over 10 years of experience in the software engineering field, in my previous roles, I have led and built several blockchain initiatives across global organizations, including Walmart Global Tech and Intel. My blockchain journey began with running chaincode in Trusted Execution Environments during Hyperledger Fabric's 0.6 release. Most recently, I served as vice-chair of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) at LF Decentralized Trust. Previously, I led the Hyperledger India Chapter and was a contributor and maintainer of multiple Hyperledger Foundation projects. I currently mentor the lab project building the debugger for Hyperledger Fabric smart contracts.
Short Personal Pitch
I am nominating myself to serve on the LF Decentralized Trust Technical Advisory Committee. My extensive experience in blockchain, coupled with my focus on scaling decentralized solutions, enables me to effectively represent both technical contributors and enterprise users. In previous terms, I have prioritized security, transparency, and contributor engagement, consistently advocating for a collaborative ecosystem that welcomes all voices.
In my recent term as vice-chair of the LF Decentralized Trust TAC, I led initiatives like the Artifact Signing Task Force and contributed to implementing a new security policy. I’m proud of the inclusive environment we've fostered—one that continues to welcome diverse perspectives and promote broader participation. My focus for the upcoming term will be on embracing the ecosystem of decentralized trust technologies, simplifying infrastructure, and driving community-driven innovation. Additionally, I want to explore the utilization of new technologies, such as generative AI, in community governance to enhance decision-making processes and engagement.
After meeting maintainers across several projects during the Maintainer Days event, I feel even stronger in my commitment to participate and engage with LF Decentralized Trust projects. Through mentorship, open-source advocacy, and my work in the LF Decentralized Trust ecosystem, I aim to bridge the gap between technical development and real-world application. As the saying goes, "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," or "The world is one family." Diverse representation from different geographies and backgrounds will build a stronger, more unified community.
