MarkMind is awesome because the developers have taken the time to create a single-pane, live preview WYSIWYG Markdown editor.
Click on an element and the local underlying text is revealed and can be edited in place. Click away and you see the rendered result. That is perfect. Plus when the user highlights text a floating text formatting palate appears. Sweet!
The previous generation of Markdown editors have a dual-pane approach in which you edit in one pane and see the preview in the other pane. Well done!
