What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. call function eventsFromRange with input like '2013-10-01', '2013-12-31'
2. returned events are from now to 2038/01/18

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
events are from '2013-10-01' to '2013-12-31'
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r13, is CentOS 5.6, php5.3.3

Unable to recreate this issue.
If I initialize the Class with:
$ical = new ICal('basic.ics');
Then build an array of values between 2 dates with:
$events = $ical->eventsFromRange('2013-07-01','2013-08-01');
The array is correct. Only containing events between the two dates.
However this project seems abandoned. You may wish you download the new ICS
Parser which is based on this, but also includes RRULE handling to allow for
recurring events. This new project also addresses a couple other small bugs
that were never fixed on this original project.
