The attribute editor includes a "fill from file" button for CSVs that automatically parses the column header to fill in the attribute names in the editor. This feature was introduced and discussed in issue #202. We should implement the same feature for TSV files.

See #2059 (comment). PapaParse supports TSVs and other delimiters.
