Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

We have published a study with good metadata, but we would like to improve it even further.
Specifically we'd like to update https://doi.org/10.57992/NMRXIV.P56 without getting a new DOI, since the related publication already references the study in nmrXiv.

Describe the solution you'd like
Specifically, we'd like to

  1. add/link the recent publication https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ymben.2024.02.006, ideally in a similar manner to how you'd reference it during the initial preparation of the study.

  2. We now have a graphical abstract 2023_10_04_Grahical_Abstract
that could be uploaded to the project (See Attached PNG), ideally in a similar manner to how you'd add it during the initial preparation of the study.

  3. Complete Author information to match the paper and adding the affiliations, ideally in a similar manner to how you'd add it during the initial preparation of the study.

  4. Rename the Samples with friendlier Names, either in the Web editor or through an API.

Additional context on Sample renaming

The Sample names were initially simply the directory names of the uploaded NMR data. It might be desirable to use the compound name of the measured isolated compound instead, which was not available at the time of measurement.

For this I have used the API to obtain Name and ID.
For the curious:

curl -s -X 'GET' 'https://nmrxiv.org/api/v1/P56' -H 'accept: */*' -H 'X-CSRF-TOKEN: ' |\
   jq -r '.data.studies[]| "\(.id), \(.name)" '

We now have created a Mapping CSV (2024_02_27_Reference_to_Rawdata-NMRFilenameMapping.csv) between Sample name/id and desired new names (attached). Some compounds/Samples were measured multiple times. Question: Must the Names be unique ? Ideally, that would not be a requirement.

Yours,
Steffen
