• emailed Mike for help with API documentation, as we were confused about Swagger

  • Mike suggested 2 alternative ways to document our API
    • Docsify
    • Redoc

• moved the issues we got finished yesterday (Complete user stories #5, Set up MongoDB #20, Initialise the project with Node #49) to 'Done' within the Kanban Board

• We ran into an issue with running the server after the merge

  • we think the issue pertains to having 2 separate files named 'server.js'
  • renamed the 'server.js' file in the API folder to 'api_server.js'

• We have the leaflet API working, which displays the map correctly (Display the Map using Leaflet #32)

  • Kyle is now working on getting the geolocation API to work alongside leaflet, so that our website knows where the user is located and shows them their surrounding area (Get user geolocation via geolocation API. #34)

Front End (Kyle & Alba):

• integrated leaflet.js, with a working map
• integrated geo-location API, so the map is set to show your location
• integrated a search bar at the top of the site, although this isn't currently functional

Back End (Lucca & Lewis):

• minimal developments today, as the team were uncertain about what they were supposed to be working on
• WFH made communication more challenging
• we are now more clear on what needs to be done, and are confident that more progress can be made tomorrow

API / DB (Finnbar & Ben):

• Database finished, with MongoDB
• added some schemas to the API, as well as all of the branch endpoints
• added more GET endpoints
