deprecate electromagnetic radiation quality #176
Comments
RBO_010017 is till appearing but is "obsolete" , should this not disappear? Optical quality is kind of OK looking at the definition now. Should we leave it? |
But http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/PATO_0001291 (EM) radiation qualityshould definitely be deprecated. Is it easier to drop this and its child together? |
As discussed on 10/12/23.... we agree the entire branch of EM quality should be removed until PATO fixes it. |
ok. has anyone raised the issue with PATO? |
Its been deprecated in PATO so we shouldnt see it? |
See #188 |
should be fixed with pato mirror update above |
OK so I tried to update only the relevant mirrors to fix this issue per #188 - those are PATO, UBERON, and ENVO. This leads to the deprecated classes issue. Here is the set of unsatisfiable classes ( I remember that I looked at it before and it's complex, something to do with organs ). YOu can download a debug module here: http://lokero.xyz/debug.owl
|
We will not wait for PATO to take care of this, we will excise this class from our build. |
(EM) radiation quality was inherited from PATO as a child of radiation quality, and has an inappropriate definition, being also at odds with the new correct quality definition of the parent term in PATO. best removed. Its child optical quality should also be removed.
