Maybe the backup questions are: what installation are you using (where did you install it from), in what operating system and hardware? |

I don't see any gamepad inputs in the logs - did you use the gamepad to reproduce the issue or you just used the keyboard ? |

I run xpad driver. i run 3 gamepads. |

I can see you're pressing start, then 4 seconds later you're exiting. Are you accessing the problematic menu with your the joystick over the menu item that you're reporting it has issues ? |

It helps somehow, but what would help would be a log of the inputs pressed, just to determine whether it's an EmulationStation issue or it's just working find and the issue is with the gamepad producing ghost inputs. I tend to favor the latter, since I can't reproduce this with my gamepad(s). |

i tried with one gamepad connected and still apear...only with the d-pad and only in that menu. |

I think the key question here is: without the xpad driver, what's the behavior like - even if you need to use only one controller? Does logging inputs with |

i used jstest did not see any qhost input at my joypads. |

Turning off xpad, how does that go? Does that happen with a keyboard as well? Still, this level of troubleshooting would be better off in the forums, where you'd be able to reach a wider population of users with different configurations that could help. As @cmitu said, he can't replicate it in his tests. We believe that you're experiencing it - it's just that it's hard to do much about it without pinpointing the exact root cause, and we're struggling to get there. |

i unistall xpad still the problem exist and only with the joypad d-pad not the keyboard and not the analog stick. |

when you go to video screensaver options and try to change the choose font size ,if you navigate with a joypad and try to stop in the font size menu then the highlight option is moved all down or up depends on how you try to stop in the font size.
With keyboard this problem is not apear.
