CryEngine3 Utilities and Exporter for Blender

Installation

Place the io_export_cryblend folder into:

Your_Blender_path\scripts\addons\

Changelog:

4.11.0 Features:

  • Created new layout for exporting options.
  • Improved configuration handling.
  • Added converter to DDS.
  • Added button to save tiff.(DDS exporting)
  • Added "Select textures directory" to CryBlend menu - helps with generating proper texture paths in .mtl files.
  • Improved relative paths in .mtl.
  • Added option "Profile CryBlend" that helps in tracking performance issues.
  • "Find the Resource Compiler" now shows current RC path.

Improvements in code:

  • Configuration simplified and moved to separate module.
  • Replaced some string concatenation by creating a list of strings.
  • Removed useless code.
  • Refactored export.py:__export_library_animation_clips_and_animations() to reduce duplicated code.
  • And other changes.

4.9.9 Features:

  • Fixed the previous fixes
  • Fixed animation export for .anm
