Can it hold 100k+ Individuals Records?

I have installed this software and have to say its incredible software for genealogical data. It has more features than I need.

I just wanted to confirm if it can work smoothly if I add 100k+ individual data as I am planning to build a local community database. It does not seem to have an import feature so I can't test it.

The program works directly with GEDCOM and only with it. Therefore, there is no import or export.

The program was tested on loading up to 2.5 million records (600 MB) on a database - a 64-bit assembly can load such a volume. In real work, the program was tested on a database up to 100 mb in size (I don’t remember the number of records). It is more than likely that the filtering, editing, and statistics functions will slow down.

Since in real work there were no such local databases yet, no special optimizations were carried out for this. On the basis of up to 1 million records, optimization may give some result, although there are doubts. Over 1 million - hardly.

It is likely that in the future the approach to data storage will change. But when it will be - no predictions.

Hi Serg, very nice software. My particular GED file is crashing it, but I haven't noticed this problem with other GEDCOMs. I'm sure my file is compliant. Is there an error log I can use to troubleshoot?

Thanks! My ancestry.com export contains 5,000+ individuals and it had one issue that caused an error. I fixed the issue in the data and it loaded perfectly. In case you are interested, here's the log entry:
