Hello everyone, I'm super grateful for what has been done in hydrogen but I've to admit I'm a bit concerned about its future.
Can the hydrogen team please state what's happening / what's the plan here ? Is something being worked on off the grid ? I'll be developping a hydrogen storefront for a client and I'm concerned whether I've made the right technological choice for them. |

Hello - it's Malte here from the Shopify headless team. You're right that the frequency of pushing to this repo has been slower recently. This is partly because the team has been spending time on the API and other internal capabilities for headless - such as improving analytics support. We’re also putting resources to other headless surfaces, which will benefit Hydrogen too. It's just that those don't typically result in PRs against this repo. Beyond that, our approach on headless has shifted to actually allow us to bring more resources to the work. It’s taking some time to get these new folks up to speed, but ultimately you should expect to see things move faster in the coming months. |

Thank you for the update, Malte. It's reassuring to hear about the ongoing work on internal capabilities and API improvements that will benefit Hydrogen. I appreciate the transparency regarding the shift in approach and the addition of new resources. Thank you for addressing my concerns and demonstrating Shopify's continued commitment to Hydrogen.
