Confidential Chat Application

This is a Python-based GUI application built using tkinter for encoding and decoding text using custom codes, emojis, and symbols. The application also supports password protection and offers multiple encoding schemes.

Features

  • Password Protected: Users must enter the correct password to encode or decode messages.
  • Encoding Schemes:
    • Symbols (!, @, X, etc.)
    • Emojis (😀, 😂, etc.)
    • Fruits (🍏, 🍎, etc.)
  • Encode/Decode Text: Users can encode and decode messages based on the selected scheme.
  • Copy to Clipboard: The encoded or decoded message is automatically copied to the clipboard for ease of use.

Requirements

  • Python 3.x
  • Libraries:
    • tkinter
    • pyperclip (optional, for clipboard functionality)

How to Run

  1. Install Python if not already installed.
  2. Clone or download this repository.
  3. Install the required libraries (if necessary):
    pip install pyperclip
  4. Run the Python file:
    python app.py

Usage

  1. Launch the application.
  2. Enter the password. (Default: CoDe Special:CoDe@2)
  3. Select the encoding scheme:
    • Symbols: Code 1 (e.g., !, @)
    • Emojis: Code 2 (e.g., 😀, 😂)
    • Fruits: Code 3 (e.g., 🍏, 🍎)
    • Complicated: Code 4 (combination of symbols and emojis)
  4. Enter the text you wish to encode or decode.
  5. Click Encode or Decode to process the text.

Code Structure

  • xi(h): Helper function to select the encoding scheme.
  • code_EE(): Function to encode a message with the Complicated scheme.
  • code_DD(): Function to decode a message with the Complicated scheme.
  • code_e(): General encoding function based on the selected scheme.
  • code_d(): General decoding function based on the selected scheme.

GUI Components

  • Password Input: Field to enter the password to access encoding/decoding functions.
  • Code Selection: Checkbox options to select the encoding scheme.
  • Text Input: Field to enter the text for encoding or decoding.
  • Output: Field to display the encoded or decoded message.
  • Buttons:
    • Encode: Button to encode the input text.
    • Decode: Button to decode the input text.

Notes

  • Ensure that the password is correct to access encoding/decoding functionality.
  • The pyperclip library is optional but recommended for clipboard support.
