Nier free cam is missing

According to this thread free camera feature was part of Special K, is there a reason it was removed? Can we bring it back?

I didn't write that code, and I can't update it for the new patched version of the game because I'm unfamiliar with it. It's likely never going to come back unless someone else wants to do all the work of comparing the original executable against the new changed one.
