Recent comments on support of analogue and digital pins

Following recent discussion by Dr Azzy about support for the various pin types and my own problems getting a set of old PCB's to operate correctly. I note that my old code for the old PCB's uses the following:

bitSet(DDRB, 0);
bitClear(PORTB, 0);

I now wonder if this is actually supported by the dev-2 core.

The old code compiles fine in both cases but only runs correctly when the bitSet & bitClear are not required on an even older PCB.

I would also like to assist you in the work on the core, recognising that my skills are quite limited and currently I only have access to T84 hardware to test on.
