Hi,

I'm a student and a newly starting with work on this project/development.

I wanted to make a few efficiency changes to the pyWGCNA module. I noticed that it was taken from the upstream repo: https://github.com/mortazavilab/PyWGCNA.

Do I make the changes

  • To the upstream repo then reply here to remerge the codebase?
  • To the omicverse repo and initiate a pull req?
  • To both independently

Apologies if this is an obvious question.

Thanks

Hi cypher004,

You can change the code directly in omicverse/externel/pyWGCNA. I've made a lot of improvements relative to the original pyWGCNA, so if you need to make changes, just do it directly in the omicverse.

Thanks,
Zehua
