Version:Application and driver for NDS Adaptor Plus (firmware v3.04)
I cannot type in the field afterwards, so I cannot do the --debug.

Error message:
Last login: Wed Sep 11 02:44:11 on ttys000
/Volumes/KAIRO\ 3/ndsplus ; exit;
Drohns-MacBook-Pro:~ Drohn$ /Volumes/KAIRO\ 3/ndsplus ; exit;
NDS Adapter+ firmware version 256 detected.
Card title: POKEMON B2
Card ID: IREO
Card size: 512 MiB
It looks like you got a card that I don't know how to handle. Please run me with --debug and post the output as an issue on github - thanks!

You write your card is firmware version 3.04 - but the program detects it as 2.56.
Are you sure you updated the firmware correctly?

I am not sure. I downloaded the file from the website (which has that name). Does it not automatically install the newest version?

How do I update it?

At time of writing, the firmware updater can be found here:
http://www.hkems.com/files/0907/0907_v3.05.zip

It's windows-only, so you'll need to use a VM or a borrowed windows machine to run the firmware updater.
After that is done, it will work on your Mac through this program.

I use winebottler or something
I installed it for this purpose

I'm not sure it'll work through wine - but let me know if it does! :-)

which others are there?

Do you know one that is free and works for sure?

I've used VirtualBox in the past to update my own adapter - that worked fairly easily. Of course you do need a windows install CD to get windows running inside VirtualBox - but those aren't very hard to obtain.

I dont have one though >.> ok so I got the updated
the program seems to run but it says it's upgraded and nothing changes

Does the upgrader work for the MAC version or just the windows version?

The updater is meant for windows, hence why I suggested to use a VM or borrow a friend's computer to do it.

I have plans to include a firmware updater in the ndsplus application for linux and mac users, but haven't had the time to do it yet... This isn't my job, I'm doing this in my free time. :-)

No problem! I'll make sure to leave a note here when I've added firmware updating support to the application, so you'll be notified.

I do have a MAC that runs Windows 7. I tried this on MAC OSX (using the upgrade firmware software on Windows) and it still doesn't work.
