I'm not sure I understand the question. What is that you want to verify? Search results? Data values? JSON formats?

A couple notes to add to the @littlebunch question.

The new API is hooked up to a new database, FoodData Central, that added Foundation Foods, Survey Foods, and more branded data. The search results between the two systems cannot be considering equivalent.

To find branded products from the old api to the new API, you will need to parse out the GTIN or UPC code from the name field and search it against the gtinUPC field in the new API. For SR Legacy items, you can search by the ndbno.
