Have you considered writing a software paper about vacumm for the Journal of Open Research Software (JORS)? I'm an Associate Editor for JORS and would love to see more papers on oceanographic software. I realise an article about vacumm appeared in the Mercator Ocean Newsletter a couple of years ago, however as I understand it that newsletter is not peer reviewed (unlike JORS, which is peer reviewed).

I didn't even know the existence of such journal!
I personally more familiar with scientific papers, except for the mercator newletter article.
There is no doubt that it would be a good idea to write such paper.
I must ask the co-authors of first article about the feasibility since I don't have a lot of time because I'm working in a private company.
