Game starts to lag when spraying (weapon) fps lowers and frame-times spike

this issue only happens when running the game with x11 under wayland it was fine.
But since the last few updates playing with wayland is not possible #3856

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Start the game
2. join match
3. spray and pray
