When creating a new route from scratch, if you select segments too fast, sometimes it rolls you back by 10-15 "moves" including any stops that were added along these ways.
Some wild guesses from my experience on what might've caused this issue:
When fetching new segments, something is reset/lost
(When loading/drawing the recently fetched roads) there is a split second where a the whole road can be deselected (even though it was segmented by Relatify) and you might be unlucky to click it at that time and thus deselecting it.
You've selected a long segment that should've been segmented. After you select it, Relatify requests the next "box" and finds that it should be segmented so it does it. You haven selected each segment so the whole road gets deselected. (you may need to be in the "downloading data" timeframe when selecting that long segment)
