Requirement

PHP 8.2 or above (Laravel 11)

Description

Currency Converter created in Laravel Exchange Rate API used to fetch live currency rates from their API.

Project Setup:

Open Terminal in VS Code / PHPStorm or editor of your choice and run the following commands in steps:

Clone the repository from GitHub:

  • git clone  https://github.com/abdullahrather/Currency-Converter-Laravel.git
    
  • cd Currency-Converter-Laravel
    

Run composer install in project's root

  • composer install
    

Create .env file from .env.example

  • cp .env.example .env
    

Set APP_KEY in .env

  • php artisan key:generate
    

Run migration

  • php artisan migrate
    

Promted: Would you like to create it? (yes/no)

  • yes
    

Run project

  • php artisan serve
