Devlog Day 1: Everything is coded except the following items
so everything will be completed soon, I need to send it to a friend to pen test it for vulnerabilities because your code will be hosted and I want it to be secure. Currently I am limiting the amounts of docker containers to 1 because I need to figure out how to make it scale better but that might be a future for later. |

Devlog day 2/3: I forgot to press comment on yesterdays devlog so here I am doing the past 2 days in one. Because A LOT was coded on day 1 I didn't have much to do these past 2 days + I had work so that cut into the time I had just a little bit. I was able to do the following though
Some things I'm going to add because I just thought of them as I was typing this up
Friend got back to me though, no obvious vulnerabilities with the website but I'm having them write some code to see if the way I have everything set up allows the containers to have access to the host's filesystem which would be a bad thing. I attached the logo below ( I know it's not the greatest but I know 0 photoshop and didn't spend much time on it honestly ) |

@TheDevYellowy Would you like to become a collaborator? I'm quite busy these days and have little time to maintain this project 😭 |

Devlog day 4: Hello it's been a while since I last worked on this in a major capacity. Here is what I've worked on so far
and that's about it it's mostly ready for production. I just need to finish working on the landing page ( which I'm not looking forward to ) and make the docker adding look pretty ( and maybe an api, who knows ) |

Probably the final update day idk / something The website is 99% done at this point ( I might just need to buy another server to be dedicated to this project ) The final things I need to finish up are just some admin things and general website things ( TOS and Privacy Policy ) |

Recently Replit has taken action against selfbots, because of this I've started on the journey of creating my own hosting platform and website to go with it. It will be free for the foreseeable future and if it ever does cost anything it will only be the cost of internet and power split up per every user. I will use this discussion to document how the process is going and give updates. Also I'm terrible at naming things so any help there is appreciated.
The website will work as follows ( this is very beta and is subject to change at any point )
EDIT
The website is finally done ( I hope ), I haven't fully bug tested it so please be patient as they come in ( you can use this repo to submit bug reports ). The website is run by a one man team ( at least for now ) so please be patient when I inevitably get the sudden influx of code needing verification. The website can be found at https://nodehosting.net please be patient with it as I need to buy a dedicated server / machine for it but i have neither the space or funds for that at the moment so it's just running on my homelab ( so you better not fucking crash it )
