Update Cycle of available asset .csv files

How frequent are the .csv files updated, which contain lists of available assets i.e. securitres (etfs, stocks, etc.)? Are there regular update cycles?

I deem the current procedure of storing these static lists in the repo as rather not so good practice. Isn't there an alternative way to scrape lists of currently available securities such as scraping them at runtime (on-the-fly) from the source page (investing.com) and implementing that in a method?

Sorry, in case I overlooked some obvious issue or another discussion, before asking. I haven't found anything helpful though.
