Hi there,

i am new to this platform and i hope that's the right way to give a feature request. Please support also git repositories. That would be a great thing.

I agree with you but it seems to be not very easy. I didn't find a way to commit ONE file in a git repository without cloning the all the repo (and it could take a lot of time and space, as I wanted also be able to deal with remote repositories...).
If you have an advice, you're welcome!!!

I understand your point, that the write access also has to be ensure correct repository handling. But what is about a direct file browser like write access? This would give the opportunity to manage the servers git repo with local git tools. I think it should be clear, that working without git commands or tools inside this folder can break the repo. Maybe this write access could be disabled by default, that no one breaks his repo by a mistake.

This should be easier doable, not?
