How to specify that blank values are allowed for a string field that is not nullable?

Let's say I have a table defined like so:

class Foobar(Base):
    __tablename__ = "foobars"
    id: Mapped[str] = mapped_column(String, primary_key=True, default=keygen)
    name: Mapped[str] = mapped_column(String)

How can I tell sqladmin that name is allowed to be blank, and in that case I want the empty string to be saved?
