Direction of waveform views in Board layout

I'm working on this "waveform" view of a pin's level over time.

In the Board layout, we have pins on the left and pins on the right.

I'm thinking having the latest detected pin level beside the pin, and the waveform move away from it, so the left one would scroll left and the right one would scroll right.

In the BCM layout, I was going to have all the pins on the left of the view (like the right hand side of the board layout), and all the waveforms moving to the rhgiht, which is the most natural direction (for left-to-right text / western countries) I think...

WDYT, is that the bets way to do it?

This is how it looks in the BCM view (almost done).
There just remains some bug in the waveform drawing for output pins.
