The problem seems to be that, under an in-flight network environment (I've properly logged in and have access to the Internet) fleet info viewer keeps showing "please open the game from within kcanotify" and doesn't change no matter of restarting the app or the game (in my memory, I did have tried some sorties regardless but still it didn't work). In addition, I noticed that when I tried to turn the sniffer off, sometimes the app seems to crash and opens my mail app perhaps for sending a crash report. I thought I kept the crash report as a draft but it turned out there wasn't one.
I know this is not a network environment easily available so I'm just opening this issue to keep track in case anyone else has a similar situation.
P.S. sorry again about the harsh comment I made in the Store. that was just out of frustation not really about hating the app or something.

Do you mean the Airplane Mode? I'll check about this issue.
It would be help to send me the crash report if mail client appears, since it is hard to reproduce all the kinds of the crashes (ex: device-dependent issue), so report can help to fix the bug.
