EURO TRUCK SIMULATOR 2 #11

Just to make sure: do you have the actual DLC files installed as well? Creamlinux only confuses the game into thinking that you own them, but you still need to have the files. |
Yes. I installed them from a DLC unlocker meant for Windows though, so I'll try to track down a version for Linux and see if that works |
Hi, did you manage to test with files from the Linux version? As far as I can tell there is nothing unusual in your logs, creamlinux should be working |
Apparently the dlc files are the same on both versions |
Yes, sorry about the new issue, figured I shouldn't just butt into another person's open issue. Anyway, I tried both the installer script and manually putting the files in. Tried moving the files into the folders where the executables are, tried copying them there while also leaving them in the main directory... Nothing works. I'm on Fedora 40 with a GTX 1060 using beta driver 555 on Wayland, if that helps. Game works fine without the launch argument. |
You're running native, right? Not through proton? And all good, you didn't do anything wrong. I'm just cleaning up the issues a bit. |
Yep, native. Also, it works fine on Paradox games. |
Okay, I solved the not starting issue. Apparently I need to put all 4 files in the folder of the 64bit executable, and it'll launch then. But now I'm having the exact same issue as the opener of this issue. It will even say I don't own the map expansions, which I do. |
I set up cream_api but my save file still says I need the DLC's to be installed. Please help
creamlinux is installed in bin/linux_x64/
my cream_api.ini:
