Hide specific resources in UI

We want to give end users read access to Argo CD so that they can verify whether an application is deployed as expected. There are however quite some technical details that are not really relevant for an enduser in our use case, such as configmaps, services, secrets, ... There is only a small subset of resources that is relevant for them, and which they should see in the UI (such as pods / argo workflows).

I checked the documentation for limiting resources that are visible in the UI but couldn't find something.
I found back this discussion from 2023 which seems to have the same use case, but I'm not sure if it's up to date.
