AWS Streamer - System Packages Installation

Ubuntu

  • Install Python dependencies:

    sudo python3 -m easy_install install pip
sudo python3 -m easy_install install virtualenv

  • Install OS packages:

    sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install \
    build-essential \
    cmake \
    pkg-config \
    python3-dev \
    python3-gi \

  • Install Homebrew:

Windows

  • Go to http://www.msys2.org/ and download the x86_64 installer. Follow the instructions on the page for setting up the basic environment.
  • Run C:\msys64\mingw64.exe and execute package manager: 
    pacman -Suy
