I can not open the link: http://locuscompare.com/ #19

Hi, I have restarted the server and hopefully you should see it's now working again. Thanks for letting us know, and glad you are finding it useful. I will look into this further, it seems the server has been going down more often recently. Let us know if this happens again (all it requires is a quick restart), as I see if I can prevent it altogether. |

Hi, sorry to both of you for the outage. It's up and running again. You are indeed correct that there were some issues going on here and the website was crashing as soon as it loaded; this had to do with some authentication issues in the "download" tab, so I've temporarily removed the table from that tab and the rest of the functions work again now. I'm also looking into upgrading the server size because we seem not to have much wiggle room left there for creation of logs and temporary files. Please do let us know if you encounter further difficulties. |
Hi @boxiangliu and @mikegloudemans Many thanks for putting this excellent package/website together. Has the issue identified above resurfaced? I cannot seem to use my own data on either http://www.locuscompare.com or the locuscomparer R package. The error message encountered on the website is the same as the screenshot shared by @beibeixiaomu (but data from GWAS already on the server work fine), and in R: locuscompare(in_fn1 = "dataset1_locus_compare_input.tsv",
in_fn2 = "dataset2_locus_compare_input.tsv",
title1 = 'Dataset 1',
title2 = 'Dataset 2')
# Error in .local(drv, ...) :
# Failed to connect to database: Error: SSL connection error: error:1425F102:SSL
# routines:ssl_choose_client_version:unsupported protocol
# Warning message:
# In rm(config) : object 'config' not found The input TSV files have two columns, rsid and pval (the same variants at the same locus, obviously!). I'm using the GRCh37/hg19 version on your server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. All the best, Steven. |
