• find a law firm
• determine people we need to get started and full cost
• questions for lawyers
  • How many trustees and what roles?
  • What are the kinds of things that would present a conflict of interest? (trustees would also be volunteers, everyone has another job)
• Research
  • General running of the UK charity tasks and responsibilities (Eggya to reach out to people who already done this).
  • Understand the expectation of the roles and whether there would require salary
  • Reach out to other UK chapters and see what their expectations of UK non-profit organisation
  • finance: how do we manage the books? estimate cost to have help with this - (for example: in US, we have a bookkeeper & an accountant) -- Eggya & John ask accountant friends
  • see if we can find a Treasurer / finance committee members who is experienced with UK finance
  • do we need/want Insurance? (in US, Directors & Officers insurance) - if so, figure out cost estimate

  • Document for the plan (with assumptions)
